Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Locksmith of America collects through this website, by phone, and by email, and how that information is used when you request mobile locksmith service in Bloomington and the Minneapolis metro. By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

When you call, email, or submit an estimate request, you may share:

• Your name and the phone number or email address we should use to reach you
• Your service location, such as an address, cross street, building, or parking area
• Details about the job, such as the property type, lock, door, or vehicle year, make, model, and VIN
• Photos of a lock, key, or door that you choose to send
• Service records, such as work orders and itemized receipts

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your request, discuss an estimate, schedule and dispatch mobile service, send arrival updates, complete the work, and handle follow-up questions. We do not sell your personal information.

When information is shared

Job details are shared with the technician or dispatcher handling your service so they can reach you and complete the work. We may also use service providers that help operate this website, such as hosting and email delivery, and we may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our customers and technicians.

Third-party services on this website

Some pages include an embedded Google Map. When the map loads, Google may collect information under its own privacy policy. Links to other websites follow the privacy practices of those sites.

Data retention and security

We keep service records as long as needed for receipts, follow-up, and normal business records, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can call or email us to review, correct, or ask us to delete the contact information we hold about you, subject to record-keeping needs and applicable law. You can also decline to provide information, although some details—such as a callback number and service location—are needed to provide mobile service.

Children’s privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging locksmith work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Please check back when you visit.
