Our commitment
Locksmith of America wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished project.
What we do
Current accessibility measures on this website include:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and page structure for screen readers
- Alternative text for meaningful images, such as service and gallery photos
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and FAQ sections
- Color choices and contrast intended to keep text readable
- An embedded Google Map with a written address and a direct link to open the location in Google Maps
- A persistent tap-to-call option for visitors who prefer the phone
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as the embedded Google Map, is controlled by its provider and may not meet the same standard. Where possible we provide an accessible alternative, such as the written address and a direct link.
